Centrifugal Spray Dryer Working Principle
Heated, filtered air enters the upper distributor and flows through the tower. A rotating atomizer generates fine droplets, which contact the air in co-current flow. Powder is recovered through the tower bottom and cyclone system; the exhaust fan removes the moist gas. Feed characteristics, cleaning access and temperature limits determine the project configuration.
Material and Process Review
Centrifugal spray drying disperses liquid feed through a rotating atomizer. Heated air removes moisture from the droplets, and collection equipment separates the resulting powder. Review spray drying equipment against representative powder drying trials and the product limits relevant to heat-sensitive material drying.
