Tomato Powder Production Line for Food Ingredient Manufacturing

Product Line / Tomato Powder Production Line

Tomato Powder Production Line for Food Ingredient Manufacturing

Convert suitable tomato material into powder through a selected slurry-based or slice-drying route. Specify spray drying equipment around the actual feed and powder drying target; spray drying trials should establish the operating window before an industrial food dryer is selected.

Process Overview & Working Principle

In the slurry route, washed and selected tomatoes are broken, filtered and concentrated under vacuum. Homogenized feed is spray dried and collected for packing. An alternative route dries prepared slices before milling them into powder.

Production Process Flow

  1. Select and wash tomatoes
  2. Prepare a slurry or slices
  3. Filter slurry where applicable
  4. Vacuum-concentrate the slurry route
  5. Homogenize and spray dry, or dry slices
  6. Mill dried slices where applicable
  7. Collect and pack

Line Features

  • Slurry spray drying and slice drying followed by milling are distinct options.
  • Concentration is coordinated with spray-dryer feed conditions.
  • Powder collection and packing are reviewed against moisture sensitivity.

Suitable Materials

  • Suitable tomatoes prepared as a filtered slurry or as slices for the agreed drying route.
  • Review the formulation, moisture, temperature sensitivity and required final product condition before selecting the complete process.

Project Selection and Interfaces

Specify raw-material condition, route, feed solids, colour objectives and powder output. Confirm carriers where required, drying limits, cleaning and packaging.

Review compatible equipment in our product range and define the utility, cleaning, containment and control interfaces before the supply scope is agreed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is every line supplied with the same equipment?

No. QUANPIN defines the equipment sequence, supply boundary and controls around the selected feed, product targets and available utilities.

What information is required for a proposal?
How is the process confirmed?

Agree a representative material specification, capacity basis and acceptance procedure. Trials or supporting process data should establish the operating conditions and finished-product requirements.

Application Review: Food Ingredient Manufacturing

Review the prepared liquid feed, solids concentration, thermal sensitivity and required powder properties. Define hygiene, collection and downstream packing interfaces for the actual food ingredient.

For food ingredients, review the Codex food hygiene and HACCP framework when defining hygienic handling.

For a food-processing application, consult FDA food manufacturing practices for the intended market.

For dried foods, the FDA water activity reference helps distinguish water activity from moisture content.

Review the actual powder characteristics using the HSE safe handling of combustible dusts.

For the heating-system review, consult the U.S. Department of Energy process heat overview.
