Instant Coffee Powder Production Line for Soluble Coffee Manufacturing
Connect coffee-bean preparation, extraction, concentration and drying to produce soluble coffee powder. Specify the coffee dryer machine and spray drying equipment around the concentrated extract; coffee spray dryer trials should establish the spray drying behaviour and required powder properties.
Process Overview & Working Principle
Prepared beans are roasted, cooled and ground before extraction. The liquid extract is filtered and concentrated, then atomized into a spray dryer. Powder collection, cooling and the agreed packing stages complete the route.
Production Process Flow
- Sort and screen green beans
- Roast, cool and grind
- Extract coffee solids
- Filter and cool the extract
- Concentrate and prepare the feed
- Spray dry and collect powder
- Optional granulation and packing
Line Features
- Bean preparation and extraction are planned together.
- Concentration conditions are coordinated with spray-dryer feed requirements.
- Optional fluid-bed granulation can be considered when a larger final particle is required.
Suitable Materials
- Coffee beans and the resulting extract intended for soluble coffee powder.
- Review the formulation, moisture, temperature sensitivity and required final product condition before selecting the complete process.

Project Selection and Interfaces
State the bean supply, extract solids, powder output and required solubility. Define flavour and aroma objectives, powder handling, packaging and available utilities.
Review compatible equipment in our product range and define the utility, cleaning, containment and control interfaces before the supply scope is agreed.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is every line supplied with the same equipment?
No. QUANPIN defines the equipment sequence, supply boundary and controls around the selected feed, product targets and available utilities.
What information is required for a proposal?
How is the process confirmed?
Agree a representative material specification, capacity basis and acceptance procedure. Trials or supporting process data should establish the operating conditions and finished-product requirements.

Application Review: Soluble Coffee Manufacturing
Review extract solids, viscosity, temperature limits and the required soluble-powder properties. Include powder recovery and packing interfaces in the line review.
For food ingredients, review the Codex food hygiene and HACCP framework when defining hygienic handling.
For a food-processing application, consult FDA food manufacturing practices for the intended market.
For dried foods, the FDA water activity reference helps distinguish water activity from moisture content.
Review the actual powder characteristics using the HSE safe handling of combustible dusts.
For the heating-system review, consult the U.S. Department of Energy process heat overview.
