FS Series Square Vibrating Screen for Pharmaceutical Powder and Granule Screening
Equipment: FS
Classify powder or granule feeds on a square screening surface. The FS configuration is selected around the required fractions, feed rate and screen-deck arrangement. Specify the square vibrating screen as a vibratory sifter for the actual powder screening or granule screening duty. Particle size classification trials should check mesh blinding, screen loading and separation into the required fractions.
Product Overview
Classify powder or granule feeds on a square screening surface. The FS configuration is selected around the required fractions, feed rate and screen-deck arrangement.
Working Principle
The vibration motors drive the square screen body in a controlled reciprocating motion. Material travels across the screen surface, fines pass through the selected mesh, and oversize material leaves through a separate outlet.

Key Features
- Controlled vibration moves feed across a square screen.
- Selected mesh openings separate the required size fractions.
- Separate discharge paths handle fine and oversize material.
Suitable Materials
- Powders and granules requiring size classification.
- Material suitability should be confirmed through review of physical properties, moisture or solvent content, temperature sensitivity and the required final product condition.
Applications
Consider powder and granule classification, removal of oversize particles and preparation of sized feeds for downstream handling. Evaluate screen loading and blinding with the actual material.

Confirm the selected configuration and material duty before ordering. Final dimensions, options and supply scope are recorded in the approved technical documents.
Selection and Configuration
Specify mesh opening, the number of required fractions, feed bulk density and throughput. Review deck arrangement, screen access, dust containment and cleaning between product changes.
For pharmaceutical installations, specify product-contact materials, containment, cleaning procedures, controls and documentation requirements. These are project requirements to be agreed, rather than an automatic claim of certification.
